Read-only access to the AEGIS security-event database for your own AI agents: protests, strikes, crime, terrorism, accidents, natural hazards and political unrest, extracted from news sources worldwide. Each event is one English sentence saying where, who and what, with its date, category, location, importance and sources.

Connect

Server: https://mcp.int-tech.solutions. You need a key (aegis_live_…). Keep it secret: it carries your plan's quota.

Claude, ChatGPT and other apps that ask only for a URL

Add a custom connector with the server URL. The app opens a sign-in page; paste your key once. The app then holds its own token, and removing the connector revokes it.

search_events

Find events by meaning (query), exact names (keywords) and filters; pages with next_cursor

get_event

Full record of one event: both descriptions, every source URL, actors

event_stats

Event counts by day, week, month, category or country

get_coverage

Countries and dates available to your key, and your plan's limits

Filters shared by search_events and event_stats: countries (ISO alpha-2), address, near_lat + near_lon + radius_km (up to 50 km), date_from / date_to, categories, sources, min_importance, min_sources.

Getting good results

• Always narrow a search: a date window plus a country, address, point or category. Without dates the last 30 days are searched.
• Write queryas one English sentence shaped like the stored events, e.g. “In Izmir, port workers went on strike over wages, halting container traffic.” Other languages work but are rewritten first, which is slower.
• Use keywordsfor names (NATO, “Deutsche Bahn”).
• Count with event_stats, not by paging through search_events.
• get_coverage shows the countries, dates and limits your key has.

Errors

Every error says what to change. Over a limit, the error says how many seconds to wait.

invalid_request: unknown categories ['riots']; call list_categories for valid slugs
invalid_request: date window is 1033 days; your plan allows up to 365. Narrow date_from/date_to or split the request
rate_limit: requests_per_minute limit of 120 reached Retry after 12 s.
